Johnson's Play Days 2019: Sa Laro Natututo

In this day and age, us parents are commonly letting our kids to play and watch on their gadgets. It’s a win-win situation for both of us, because we can finish chores and rest (for a bit), while the gadgets keeps them busy.

Even though there may be benefits on this kind of scenario, we should still keep in mind that physical activity, reading and other more 'traditional' activities continue to play a very important part in children's development. So from time to time, we should allot some time to bond with our kids.

Last March 24, at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, we took the opportunity to join Johnson’s Baby’s event: Play Days 2019: Sa Laro Natututo.

 
With their goal to make playtime more meaningful, they started their Play Days program last 2012.

“We have noticed that gadget time has replaced play time for a lot of parents and kids. However, it is actually during play time that children build many foundational life skills they need. We want to bring the fun into learning with an event that teaches parents how play time can be enjoyable and educational as well. We also made sure to give them various tips that they can do from the comfort of their own homes, so the fun does not stop with the event.” – Senior Brand Manager for Johnson’s Baby, Alde Po.

These four zones highlighted  how a child can learn different skills like problem-solving, self-expression, communication and flexibility.
